Email enquiries: information, purpose and retention
When you email us, we receive your email address, the name or nickname you choose to include, your message and any attachments. We use them to answer the enquiry, investigate a reported error or process a request concerning the website. Do not include passport, identity, payment-card or other unnecessary sensitive details. Enquiry information is not separately reused for marketing.
Enquiry emails and associated attachments under the operator’s control are deleted within three months after the enquiry has been resolved. The operator’s stored copies and downloaded attachments are included in this rule. If a law requires particular material to be retained, only that material is kept separately for the required period. Service-provider backups and technical logs follow their own retention rules.
Hosting, email and service providers
The site is hosted by WordPress.com. Automattic, which provides WordPress.com and Jetpack, may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, access time, pages viewed and referring pages to deliver, secure and measure the site. The information depends on the features in use. See Automattic’s notice for site visitors for its purposes, sharing and retention practices.
Enquiries are received and stored through Naver Mail. Its processing is described in Naver’s privacy policy. We do not sell or publish enquiry contents for promotional purposes. If handling a request requires a separate disclosure, we first explain the information and purpose, except where disclosure is legally required.
WordPress.com is an international hosting service. Its published privacy policy describes international processing and safeguards. Processing by a service provider is distinct from the operator’s own enquiry records. Contact us if you need information about the services involved in a particular request.
Cookies and statistics
WordPress.com and Jetpack features may use cookies or similar technologies for operation, preferences, security and statistics. See Automattic’s cookie policy for details and choices. You can block or remove cookies in your browser settings, although some functions may be affected. Choosing English changes the content language; it does not subscribe you to email.
Google advertising and affiliate links
Hi Jigu has applied for Google AdSense. At the time this policy was updated, Google ad serving had not been enabled on the site. When advertising is enabled, Google and other advertising providers may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to collect information in connection with ad serving. Advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites.
You can opt out of personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center. Choices for participating third-party advertising providers are available through Digital Advertising Alliance. Where consent is legally required, the applicable consent process must be provided before the relevant technologies are enabled; this policy is not a substitute for consent.
Travel-platform affiliate links are not currently in use. If introduced, the relevant guide will identify the affiliate relationship and possible commission, and this policy will be updated to describe any additional processing.
Access, correction, deletion and other requests
You may request access to, correction or deletion of enquiry information held by the operator, or suspension of its processing, by emailing hansoomgyul@naver.com. A representative may contact us with appropriate authority. We verify identity only to the extent necessary to avoid disclosing another person’s information, explain any applicable legal restriction and communicate the result. For information processed directly by a service provider, you may also use that provider’s privacy procedures.
Changes
